About the event
The Goal of the Wellness Ambassadors is to learn and teach others how to make healthy lifestyle choices. These Port Towns Youth Council (PTYC) & Pathways to Career Success Program (PTCS) participants and parents comprised the major portion of the audience with other municipal youth, explorers, and church youth joining them throughout the monthly (Youth Safety and Mental Health Education Initiative YSMHEI) workshops.
The play will feature 4 courageous actors of the twenty-four Port Towns Youth Council and Pathways to Career Success Program 2025 graduates and one Narrator who is a 2024 alumna. The following major outcomes were achieved that you will hear about tonight.
Students’ post COVID psychological challenges they had to overcome to graduate on time college, career, and workforce ready were met.
Students’ readiness to present their ideas and recommendations for change in their homes, schools, and communities. Through this education process, these students are well equipped…
