“We’ve partnered with the Jobs for Youth Summer Employment Program for several years. We’ve been really impressed with the program and we love doing it. This program is so important because it gives kids a glimpse of many different work places and it helps them start to see themselves as independent young adults.”

Our community partnership with End Time Harvest Ministries has supported our goal of social value creation in Prince George’s County. Reverend Addison and her teams unrelenting commitment to the community and its young people through the Youth Wellness Leadership Program, has provided us a gateway to provide a hands-on education and understanding of the importance of stormwater management; what it is, why it’s important and how individual actions can support positive improvements that affect our waterways.

Community Partner

I’m really a firm believer that the youth need to be at the table as we have these conversations about what we want our community to be. They need to hear us, and we need to be open to listen to hear what they have to say. End Time Harvest Ministries and all the associated programs, the mission has always been to bring the youth and their families to the table and to really engage with them. Whether it be the summer youth program or the wellness program, to always make the youth, our young people, an integral part of what we are doing. Our youth have to be at the table in all of this work – they have to be there to hear us, and we have to be open to hear what they need. End Time Harvest Ministries (ETHM) has been that long term, dependable organization in the community that has provided our youth with opportunities and options that have molded them into these amazing human beings who are ready to become leaders as they leave our community or stay in our community.

Mayor of Edmonston

The Town of Edmonston’s partnership with End Time Harvest Ministries has been invaluable. The students that have worked with our staff have learned about the Town’s dedication to sustaining our environment. Some of the tasks the students have been involved with include inventorying our stormwater drain system, planting trees and scrubs in our many rain gardens, serving as counselors for our summer environmental camp. The students learn life lessons that help them have successful high school careers. Their dedication to participating in End Time Harvest Ministries program gives them the foundation to lead positive, healthy lives dedicated to protecting our environment.

Alumni Class of 2019, Port Towns Youth Council

The PTYC means being a leader. It’s helped me become a better person through community outreach experiences. I think it’s always good to be able to go out into the community and help those who are in need. I know a lot of people through our PTYC outreach whose lives we touched over the years.

ETHM has played a tremendous role in my personal and professional growth and development.  Through the investment of ETHM and Rev. Addison, I was afforded the opportunity to grow into a leader within my community and learn valuable life skills that are still impactful today.  I can confidently say that ETHM is a valuable stakeholder in our community, that will always be a constant in my life and the lives of so many youth within Prince George’s County.

Port Towns Youth Council, Alumni Class of 2005

ETHM has played a pivotal role in my development as a professional, as a youth advocate, and as a policy maker. During my formative years, the level of professional learning and job skills training keenly enhanced my leadership skills for college, career, and life. My involvement in ETHM’s youth programming ultimately inspired me to develop and lead the Urban Choral Arts Society,  a 501c3 organization dedicated to improving the achievement and esteem of Baltimore area youth through choral music and cultural arts. As a school board member, my experiences with ETHM has shaped my understanding of how strong community stakeholder relationships are invaluable to school and individual student success. ETHM is a much needed organization for youth of today and generations to come.
