Faith In Action Warriors Outreach (FIAWO), established in 2002, provides youth-led volunteer compassionate caregiving services to senior citizens, chronically ill, homebound and homeless individuals. FIAWO is a unique neighbor-to-neighbor outreach ministry that is intergenerational and culturally diverse.

FIAWO volunteers/partners rake leaves, shovel snow, distribute/serve food to homeless individuals, visit senior citizens and participate in fun activities with them. FIAWO was established by a 20 member Advisory Board of local and other Prince George’s County citizens.

GOALS

	Mainstream sick and shut-in individuals through volunteer assistance
	Distribute food and clothing to homeless individuals and community residents
	Provide compassionate care and assistance to those in need
